The best Xbox One games of 2018
1. 5 beds
Far Cry 5 is a new adventure of the old series in the explosive environment of Ubisoft. In this season, players control the Sheriff in the heart of the mountains of Montana, where a cult has rebelled and is trying to start a religious war.
There are many options for players here, such as gun control, religious extremism, and destroying politicians, but Far Cry 5 goes well beyond that. You can manage people, put together a collection, hire a bear member, and attack the team in a chaotic support mode.
2 The beginning of Assassin’s Creed
Assassin’s Creed: Origins, also known as Assassin’s Creed 10. Yes, if you can believe it, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has now reached its tenth installment – not counting the side-games – and surprisingly, it’s one of the best installments. For a series that’s been in decline for years, we’re happy that the gameplay has improved so much, and it’s a pleasant surprise. Set in Egypt for about 40 hours, players control a member of the Brotherhood of Assassins fighting the evil Order of the Ancients, the first to oppose the Creed of the Knights Templar. The original graphics, gameplay, story line have received praise from gamers and critics – we wholeheartedly agree with them. If Syndicate broke your faith, let Origins restore it.
3. Gears of War 4
In GoW 4, the story begins 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3 and is a good supporting role. It’s not revolutionary, but it does offer some great new features and a good storyline. 4. Death Road to Canada
This zombie killing adventure is the best indie game we’ve hit on this list. Death Road in Canada sees players controlling a team of apocalyptic survivors (including cats, dogs and pigs) to kill dozens of random zombies in random combat.
Death Road in Canada has been on mobile for a long time, but developers Rocket Games and Madgarden finally decided to bring it to consoles. It was promised at the beginning of 2018, but due to the terrible tragedy in Toronto, the publishing house Ukiyo made a respectful decision to kill the game until May.
5. sea of thieves
Imagine that you can go to a 3D sandbox game world and become a pirate, board enemy ships, search for treasure and much more. That’s exactly what Sea of Thieves offers you: an endless sandbox game (or wind) in which you control sailors to conquer the sea and explore hidden islands while you avoid skeleton pirates, enemy galleons and the famous Kraken. Developer Rare (Banjo-Kazooie) has enhanced Sea of Thieves by offering a multiplayer mode for up to four people to share their naval battles and treasure hunts in this fantasy universe. Of course, multiplayer is an option, but we really recommend it if you want to get even half of this game is the real power. Yo Ho Ho, and a bottle of flavor!
6 Assassin’s Creed: Rogue
Rogue is an Assassin’s Creed game that everyone should play, but almost no one does. Why? Well, because in 2014, we’re wasting our time with a great but flawed unity. Ubisoft released both games at the same time, Unity as the first Xbox One/PS4 installment in the Assassin’s Creed saga, and Rogue as the last for 360/PS3. Rogue is the sequel to Black Flag, an epic Caribbean adventure that made ship combat one of the game’s core elements. The 2014 series was well received and had a compelling story, but it was largely overlooked. Fortunately, this buried treasure was unearthed and a sweet reward was received in four minutes. If you like to play as a pirate but you can’t imagine the high seas of pirates, then set your eyes on Assassin’s Creed, Rogue.
7. The Witcher 3
There’s no doubt that The Witcher 3 sets a new benchmark for immersive storytelling, allowing a complex story to be woven into an expansive and beautiful gameplay environment. Combat is fun, and just like the conversations you’ll have in the memorable multiplayer games here, you can do side quests for hours and with two wonderful pieces of DLC, you’ll Following Geralt of the Riviera has been coming for several months.
8 Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Going to Venus to fight Hitler’s high-tech hordes of Nazis has never been fun! Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is an exciting sequel to Bethesda Studios’ Wolfenstein: The New Order, set in an alternate universe in which Germany won World War II and raised the level of its predecessor in every possible way. FPS action is fast and brutal, but most importantly, the game allows you to play in stealth mode. As the actor of William “Terror Billy” Blazkowicz, you can become a dangerous gun, an American hero or the silent hero of Sam Fisher.
Different types of games offer different rewards, making flexibility necessary. Players also make choices at the beginning of the campaign – the writing of which, however, is creative intelligence – which changes the course of the story. So you have to complete it at least twice to get the most out of the experience; we promise you it’s worth it. And when you’re done, you can enter the three DLC shows or go to the field in retro style using the trick of Wolfenstein 3D in the game.
9 Resident Evil 7
After the chaos of Resident Evil 6, the creators of Capcom returned to a long series of “horror” with scary buildings and their inhabitants. The Xbox One version doesn’t support PS VR, but this flashy arcade game shines on the screen all the time with a great sound design that will have you climbing out of bed.
10 Observations
From its beautiful design to its fast shooting speed, Overwatch offers an accessible, immersive and fun experience for players. Seven million people played Overwatch in the week of its release, and it has continued to dominate multiplayer games ever since. It’s a very polished, lightweight shooter that’s fun to play for a few hours.
11. Forza Motorsport 7
Forza Motorsport 7 is currently the best game in Microsoft’s Xbox family. It’s amazing on the One and One S, but if you’re lucky enough to own an Xbox One X, you’re in for a treat. With HDR and 4K textures, Forza Motorsport 7 is a must-have, one of the best simulation games of this generation.
12. Fate 2
Destiny is back, and this time it’s worth playing. While the original plot is a convoluted mess and should be ignored, this mode is worth playing side-by-side with friends. By refining the shooter’s gameplay and adding a bunch of new weapons and abilities, Bungie has created a series that feels fresh and superior to its predecessor.
13 Rocket League
Rocket League has caused a stir since its inception, allowing PC, PS4 and Xbox One players to navigate open worlds with rockets. The game is like football if a 5-year-old created a football that loves to play with toys.
14. Minutes
In Minit, you control a brave little man with a cursed sword as he wanders through a 2D black and white mystical world from the original Zelda game or Undertale. You have one minute to play before you die, so the whole game will unfold in one minute.
Death is more common in Minutes than in Dark Souls. They have clickable button players that delay you and end your misery before the time runs out. A friendly face littering the ground will lend a hand, and there are many places to explore after death. As the game progresses, the various puzzles get progressively more difficult and the landscape becomes more difficult to navigate – so expect difficulty.
15. hunter world
Jurassic Park meets Avatar in this RPG game from Capcom, the first in the Jurassic Park series to get the critical acclaim it deserves. Wielding great swords and magical powers, players traverse a vast world teeming with life. You can go it alone or defeat the deadly dinosaurs in many games. Either way, Monster Hunter: World offers an incredibly exciting, beautiful and challenging experience.
